Swisstopo updates its app with an interactive map

The Feral Office of Topography Swisstopo has recently updat its mobile application with a new interactive map call “Base Map”. Optimiz for mobile devices, it offers an improv user experience thanks to a moderniz design and better readability.

The “Base Map” is distinguish by its ability to combine data from swisstopo with that of partner organisations, thus providing real-time information and interactive points of interest (POIs). Users can directly access practical information such as public transport timetables, weather forecasts from MeteoSwiss or details on the Swiss Alpine Club huts.
